Keep yourself in great shape in the well-equipped exercise room at Whispering Winds in Bend, OR. You’ll find just what you need to stay fit, including treadmills, upper body conditioners, exercise bikes, free weights, weight bench and so much more.

We offer a very versatile, colorful and fun fitness schedule. We believe that variety and simplicity blend well when offering seniors the best and easiest access to fitness and that fitness goes hand-in-hand with fun. While educating our residents in safety and the benefits of moving, we bring fitness into their everyday lives.
There are three divisions we offer:

Fitness Activities Fitness Classes Personal Training

Personal Training

We provide one-on-one, or one or two-on-one personal training with our fitness professionals. That means training with free weights, cardio machines and movement training in our gym. Our trainers will guide you in the safest, most effective movement for strengthening, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness.


We provide multiple group fitness classes almost every day during the week, including:

  • Morning Exercise Class
  • Balance Class
  • Chair Yoga
  • Circuit Training

Additional classes in other movement such as Better Bones & Balance Lite, Kitchen Sink Exercise, and others are offered regularly.

Fitness Activities

Our monthly calendar is always full of fun fitness activities to attend such as our Annual Whispering Winds Senior Games, Heart Healthy Walks, Cardio Drumming, Sit-down Volleyball and Summer Hiking. Sign-up sheets for these activities can be found in the Activity Book.
